Job Description:

Performs a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized information assurance problems. Tasks involve integration of scan management solutions as they pertain to IA requirements. May conduct security assessments implementing and managing IA tools. Analyzes information security posture. Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of work flow, organization, and planning.

Work as part of the DLA Cyber security team to perform vulnerability scanning, assessments and reporting to meet existing and emerging DLA and DoD requirements.
Assist other DLA service areas as it pertains to Vulnerability reporting, continuous monitoring and sustainment. Further development is based upon the customers' requests for specific CS requirements. These activities include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
The Contractor(s) shall coordinate, schedule and perform web vulnerability scans and testing as assigned or ticketed in a manner prescribed and identified by DoD, USCYBERCOM, DISA and DLA policy, order, task and or regulation.

Provide weekly status update on all open assignments and tickets.
Maintain working documentation by updating tickets and by correspondence.
Maintain and update Point Of Contact (POC) information related to open assignments.
Obtain and maintain credentials to complete open assignments.
Update, maintain and validate DLA approved web vulnerability scanning applications and ensure scanning assets are registered according to DLA policy.
Ensure testing and tuning of updates and new DLA approved web vulnerability scanning applications is done prior to running a production reporting scan to determine reliability of vulnerability information returned and potential impact on availability.
Ensure required correspondence is properly labeled according to naming conventions identified by DLA operating Procedure.
Ensure reports are properly labeled according to naming conventions and stored according to DLA standard operating procedure
Provide documentation on vulnerability scanners and databases are created, maintained and made available following DLA policy and procedures for registration and maintains.
Update and maintain documentation to include but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), correspondence templates, technical implementation guides and other as needed to support DLA web vulnerability scanning requirements.
Develop and or contribute to maintain a means (i.e. web portal, SharePoint site ...) to convey pertinent information to DLA Cyber Security team and Service areas as required.
Participate with vulnerability finding review with peers as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
4 years IA experience
Possession of following Certification CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security + ce, SSCP, CASP, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH
Possession of Top Secret clearance or higher
Or must have Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)

Software application experience with one of the following:
PortSwigger Burp
Tenable Security Center
eEye Retina
HP WebInspect

Required Skills:
2 years of experience supporting one of the following: web server, web infrastructure, web testing or web development.
Knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP 1.1 protocol RFC 2616
Education: High School or Equivalent
